Redmi Note 9 coming out

Xiaomi’s new phone, Redmi Note 9 coming out. The Redmi Note 9 comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which is really beefy for budget smartphones, with an octa-core (2x Cortex-A75 and 6x Cortex-A55) and Mali-G52 MC2 graphic unit. So obviously this phone will deliver awesome performance for its given price. The processor G85 is a part of MediaTek’s gaming-intense G series, so you can expect nice performance while playing games (compared to other graphic units in this tier).

Xiaomi Redmi’s new phone in the market delivers a battery of 5,020mAh with 22.5W fast charging, 6.53 inches FHD+ screen, and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Talking about the camera specs of phones, it holds a selfie camera of 13MP in a punch-hole manner, and it has a quad-camera setup on the rear side (8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, 2MP depth, and a 48MP high-resolution camera).

Other highlights of specs include a 3.5mm stereo port, IR emitter, MIUI 11 interface on top of Android 10, Gorilla Glass 5, Bluetooth 5, USB-C, all this with a p2i water-repellent covering. One drawback is that Xiaomi doesn’t include NFC as one of the features.

Coming to the foremost important price, Redmi Note 9 starts with Rs 11,999 (~$160) for its 4GBram and 64GB storage variant. The 4GB/128GB variant will be available at Rs 13,499 (~$180) and its top-tier 6GB/128GB variant will cost Rs 14,999 (~$200). The phone will be on sale starting from July 24 on Mi.com. It will also be available on Mi Home stores, and Amazon India.
